Privacy Policy
1. Who we are and what this policy covers
This policy describes what information bustygifs.com (the "Website") collects when you visit it, how it is used and who it is shared with. The Website has no user accounts, no registration and no uploads, so we collect far less than most websites. Where we refer to media hosted elsewhere, the privacy policy of that service applies to what it collects from you.
2. Information we collect automatically
Like almost every website, our web server keeps a standard access log for each request. It contains your IP address, the date and time, the page or file requested, the referring page (if your browser sends one) and your browser's user-agent string. These logs are used only to keep the Website running, to detect abuse and to diagnose errors. They are rotated daily and deleted automatically after 14 days, and are not used to build profiles of individual visitors.
The Website is served through Cloudflare, which acts as a reverse proxy and may process your IP address and request metadata to provide security and caching, under Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
3. Cookies and browser storage
We use one cookie, age_ok, which is set only after you confirm on the age-verification
screen that you are 18 or older. It contains no personal data and exists so that you are not asked again
for one year. If you delete it, you will simply see the age screen again.
We also use your browser's session storage to remember, for the current tab only, that a particular clip was reported as unavailable, so the same report is not sent twice. A service worker may cache the Website's own static files (scripts, styles, icons and preview images served from our domain) in your browser to make pages load faster; it never caches pages or media from other domains. Neither mechanism identifies you and both are cleared by your browser's normal "clear site data" controls.
We do not use analytics or tracking scripts.
4. Embedded media from third parties
Clips and preview images are loaded by your browser directly from the service where they were published (for example Reddit or RedGifs). When that happens, your browser sends a request to that service, which will see your IP address and may set its own cookies. We instruct your browser not to send the address of our pages as the referrer, but we have no control over what those services collect or how they use it. Please review their privacy policies.
5. Advertising
The Website may show advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks. When an advertisement is displayed, the network may collect your IP address and browser information and may set its own cookies to measure or personalise advertising. We do not pass any information we hold to advertising networks. Currently no advertising script is loaded on the Website; this section will be updated with the name of the network and a link to its policy before any advertising goes live.
6. Information you send us
If you contact us (for example with a removal request through our DMCA / Contact page), we keep the message and your contact details for as long as needed to handle the request and to keep a record that it was handled. We never publish the details of the people who send removal requests.
7. Sharing and legal requests
We do not sell, rent or trade any visitor information. We disclose information only to the service providers named above, as necessary to operate the Website, or where we are legally required to do so or need to do so to protect the Website, its visitors or the public.
8. Children
The Website is intended exclusively for adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the Website, please contact us so that any related information can be deleted.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Because we keep no account data and our server logs are not indexed by person, in practice the only data we could hold about you is a log line identified by IP address, or a message you sent us. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed; continued use of the Website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
